hen the Jadot family, Burgundian merchants, decided to sell their 19th century mansion, Johan Björklund immediately understood that it was the perfect place to buy, but was not yet sure of its use.
The ambition to create a 5-star hotel was born in 2002 and over the years, the Hotel de Beaune has matured and become a local reference.
Following numerous renovations, and the acquisition of the neighboring historic Monastery, the hotel now offers 16 rooms, suites and apartments just a few meters from the Hospices and the Halles.
Johan wanted to create an experience in his hotel similar to his own family home. As a chef, the experience could only be complete with the opening of his signature restaurant "Le Bistro de l'Hôtel" featuring simple and friendly cuisine, just like a Sunday meal, using only local and seasonal products.
