Founder & Director
With 35 years of experience in France’s luxury tourism trade under his belt—including stints as a hotel barge captain and hot air balloon pilot—French Promise Founder, Philip Haslett has a deep-seated knowledge of all the country has to offer, from such tried-and-true destinations as Paris and the Riviera, to such off-the-beaten-path alternatives as French Basque Country, Brittany and the Ile de Re. Philip has access to the country’s most intriguing artisans and craftsman, making for tours that are as mind-expanding as they are pleasurable.
His speciality areas include the hidden pockets of the South of France, along with wine tastings in Burgundy, Bordeaux, and the Loire Valley. Philip often plans multi-week trips for clients that span the entire nation highlighting the best kept secrets of France. Philip also makes sure to build in cultural experiences, like a private after-hours tour of the Palace of the Popes in Avignon, or a VIP Formula 1 tour around the track.

Originating from Paris, Sarah Latrous started her luxury travel career in some of the most exclusive hotels in both Paris and London. Sarah is our true Paris insider with extensive luxury concierge and travel experience with specialties in Paris, as well as, Normandy and Bordeaux. She has her own team of carefully chosen guides that she has developed relationships with over the past 10 years. Our French Promise tours and experiences in Paris are often created exclusively for our clients 1:1, and her rich network allows exclusive VIP access to some of the city’s best kept secrets.
Sarah joined Philip at Kairos Travel in 2017, and together launched their new brand, French Promise in 2022. Sarah also has over 10 years experience as Managing Director at DAMOISEL, as well as, a renowned luxury Paris concierge. Together, Philip and Sarah, have over 45 years combined luxury travel experience throughout France.
