Built in 1920 in Wingen-sur-Moder by René Lalique, a great Art Nouveau jeweler and famous Art Deco master glassmaker, the Villa René Lalique consists of an exceptional hotel and a a refined restaurant, a living and vibrant tribute to its creator. The six exclusive suites, each inspired by an original motif by the avant-garde artist.
The Austrian chef, Paul Stradner, works with his team to develop a creative, intense and colorful cuisine. Alongside him are the pastry chef Nicolas Multon — who draws inspiration from local products to make his sweet creations — as well as the Alsatian head sommelier Romain Iltis, who reigns over the exceptional cellar of the Villa René Lalique, the one of the finest in Europe, with no less than 60,000 bottles. Featuring an exceptional wine cellar, the realm of Romain Iltis – awarded “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” 2015 and “Meilleur Sommelier de France” 2012.
