ight years in the making, Maison Barrière Vendôme is an intimate, luxury Parisian hotel featuring 26 rooms, suites and apartments inspired by 26 famous women associated with Paris and the chic Frita Bar & Restaurant.

Who doesn’t love the grande dame hotels of Paris? Here’s an entirely new breed. Eight years in the making (that’s how long it took to transform Lacoste’s former headquarters) and the Barrière company’s only second Parisian property after Fouquet’s, it is intimate rather than imposing, with a pied-à-terre rather than a palace vibe. Instead of a vast lobby, there’s a cozy vestibule and—the grande dame part—the mood and décor of its 26 rooms, suites, and apartments, each with a statement Pierre-Frey embroidered headboard which takes its inspiration from 26 famous women associated with Paris, including: Marlene Dietrich, George Sand, and Sarah Bernhardt. The location is perfect for swanning around, midway between the Tuileries Garden, just one block to its south, and Place Vendôme, one block to its north.

At the heart of Maison Barrière Vendôme, bar and restaurant Frida celebrates the free and daring spirit of the iconic Frida Kahlo. With its vibrant decor inspired by the artist’s home, the space blends warm colors and rare intimacy, offering a secret haven of peace amid the hustle and bustle of Paris.
