From the D-Day beaches in Normandy to the beaches in Nice, we had wow moments after wow moments. Each town, city, and village was magical. Each and every guide, driver and driver/guide was knowledgeable, friendly & innovative adding their own personality to the vacation. They were so much fun to talk to exploring all aspects of history, personal family life, political and social issues. The Belle Epoch was a true WOW time with amazing food, crew and memorable places we visited each day. I have never enjoyed or eaten so much wonderful food and wine in one week. It was truly amazing. "First wonderful surprise: upgrades on our first palace hotel in Epernay for Champagne, a wonderful tour to a local small producer with a wonderful guide. Strasbourg and Colmar somehow never felt crowded with our guide as we navigated the Christmas markets and small villages. Great local guide in Lyon who took us to his family winery and beautiful village in the Beajuolais—this was one of the highlights. This is our second trip with Philip and his team, again everything was more than excellent, their ability to adjust on the go to requests is phenomenal...
